Qualitex
Solutions commenced operations in October 1988, selling, installing, and
training staff to use DAC Easy accounting software.
Qualitex
ran computer training courses for The NSW TAFE. We also designed and
implemented computer training courses for pre-release inmates at Long
Bay Correctional Centre in Sydney. These courses were so successful that
inmates were able to redesign area procedures for which they were
directly responsible.
Qualitex
clients have ranged in size from single clients with an annual turnover
of $100,000 to businesses with a turnover of $330 million and 33
operational divisions. In each case the appropriate software was sourced
and, if required, modifications made and installed.
Today the
company continues that tradition, whilst also being accredited trainers
for the Quicken range of accounting products - and our range of clients
remains just as diverse.
Jeff
Maltby, manager of Qualitex Solutions, trained as an Accountant. In that
role he worked for the Australian Taxation Office as an Investigation
Officer. Subsequently he moved into a commercial accounting role with a
large Australian owned public company in the foods group. Following that
appointment Jeff moved onto serving several small family companies in
the commercial art and sheet metal industries. That role continues
today.
